Quick service, good prices, delicious food and the new updates have given Lakeshore a very open welcoming feel.
This isn't actually called Mel's anymore, but it's a fun place to listen to music. I listened to the 40 Fingers band, who were excellent. I ate the steak bites, which were quite tasty. My only complaint is that getting a drink at the bar took too long for myself, my mother, and I noticed, even members of the band who wanted a soda. Too much chatting and not enough serving. They'd probably make more money if they were more vigilant about this. I greatly enjoyed their deck and the view of the lake. I've heard they're making some improvements to the facility. I look forward to another visit in the future. **I did not stay overnight here.
Small local bar with good energy and good food. Don't let deb discourage you. Her bark is worse than her bite. The staff is all amazing, some you need to take with a grain of salt but we love them all anyways
Drove up in the boat, went to the bar for a cocktail and sat outside on the deck to enjoy. Beautiful scenery!
Just visited Linda’s Lakeshore bar/grill as we do every time we visit Chetek. It is taco Tuesday and the tacos were very good. Just good home style tacos with your choice of soft or crunchy. The Bloody Mary was delicious and our bartender Deb was a hoot with a fun personality. Very attentive in her own special way. Had a great lunch with friends and family and will definitely be back.
Mel's has the perfect location, has gas available for boats and a bar with food. Live entertainment throughout the year. We have been here many times and will return each year
